cellioHow peculiar. I don't think I've ever burned out a power strip before. There I was, minding my own business, when suddenly the microwave just stopped. (No, we didn't overload the circuit or anything silly like that; the thing just up and died spontaneously.)
Tonight we attempted to pick up our new chairs. Due to the way they're packaged, though, they were too big to fit in my car. (My car is a hatchback, and I figured I could at least carry them one at a time. Nope.) So now we have to deal with delivery. Sigh. Well, it's Dani's turn. :-)
Last night we had a pleasant evening with Ralph, Lori, and Mike. The chicken-and-peach curry was very tasty (I've got to try that). When I saw the mound of cut-up peaches I thought they were destined for a pie. They cooked down quite a bit, though, so they didn't overwhelm the chicken. After dinner we played Hack.
I have a growing list of more "meaty" things I want to write about, when I get the time. I wonder how long that will take.
