He's the author of "Kosher Sex," I'm not sure if he ever intends to be taken too seriously. A lot of the book's very lighthearted in tone... :-)

I've heard of it, of course (and the sequel, "Kosher Adultery"), but I haven't read it. His articles seem to vary in seriousness.

It certainly sounds serious - enough to consider whether or not the action would have the impact he suggests. Certainly the current majority of the Israeli parliament would be very unhappy with the (required) separation of church and state.
