I enjoyed this article about the author's childhood questions (and answers). I wish I'd had a mentor like that when I was a child.

Oops. For some reason I directed my response to Jenn rather than you. Well, anyway, I was glad to read it.

Hey, it got me all misty as well. I would also have loved to have someone like Reb Dovid
in my life at any time, even now.

Just consider this to be a stupid peer trick, "I have a couple of stupid peer tricks, one of them is to transfer blame to Fianna..." :-)

I enjoyed the article. Pens are not the worst thing you can bite through. Any LARPer can tell you hir version of the following horror story. . .

You're on an adventure. You find a locked box, possibly booby-trapped. As the party's thief, it's your task to open it. You examine the box carefully with your glow-stick (the only light source allowed on a dungeon crawl). You place the glow-stick in your teeth in order to have both hands free to use your thieves tools. The vampire jumps out of hiding and scares the beejeezus out of you. Your party's fighters advance to battle the monster. And you're sitting there spitting glow stick chemicals out of your mouth because you bit through the damn thing when the monster surprised you. I assure you, ink is utterly no comparison to the foul taste of a glow stick! I speak from experience
