If I'm on your friends list, how do you know me? (I know that in some cases it's obvious.)

Also, if you feel like it, please give a tiny little blurb about yourself. Tell me where you're from, what you're interested in, a little relevant information like that.

I believe that we found each other through other Callahanians (I think you added me first, and then I added you back). And copied from a previous response to a similar request, here are two sentences about me.

I'm a middle-aged (42), long married (20.67 years - that's my wife jungle_goddess in the picture), radical libertarian computer programmer (mathematical/financial applications) with three kids (17, 14 and 12). I love SF, am rather cool on fantasy, and obsess over Mystery Science Theater 3000.
