My office-mate just found her daughter's weblog. This afternoon promises to be highly entertaining. :-)

Update: apparently the daughter gave her mother the URL. Go figure. Based on the excerpts I've heard, she may regret that in a few years.

This is exactly why, even though my journal has been friends-locked for the past year, none of the contact info that usually appears in my .sig (LJ username, IM accounts) appears in the version I use when I'm sending email to either of my parents. :)

Oh. Man. Glurk.

I generally have a "Mom-filter" when I post stuff. Is this something I wouldn't mind my mother reading? If the answer is Yes, the Friends-Lock occurs.

My children, [livejournal.com profile] jezredfern and [livejournal.com profile] burncycle both have journals, although I'm sure they have a "No Dad" filter. Although I sometimes get additional gray hairs reading their journal, we have a deal about why I can and can not comment on. I think it works out nicely.
