Meet in person and have time to talk

Yeah, that would be great!

I don't think I've yet met someone in person who I'd met online. I keep wondering whether it would feel odd at first or not.

I met sanpaku a few months ago when he visited his family in Pittsburgh. We "met" through LJ. I didn't feel personally odd about it, because we've corresponded and I knew he was a neat person, but I kind of wondered how Dani (and Mrs. Sanpaku) would feel, because neither of them had any connection. (And my main connection is around the theme of religion, which doesn't do much for Dani.) It worked out just fine, though -- we had a nice meal and then shmoozed for another hour or so before they had to run off. Dani and I would both enjoy spending time with them again.
