Yeah, you're right on two counts: I don't think I would post sans translation, and in any case I wouldn't post in whatever language that is 'cause I don't know it.

It's Spanish - I just wrote "It's difficult to know what you'd never write since we only know each other through LJ" :-)

Thanks. I initially thought Spanish, but the accents over some of the vowels threw me. I don't remember those from my limited high-school foray into Spanish. So some words ("usted", "nunca") certainly seemed Spanish, but I thought maybe it was a related language instead.
