cellioA newcomer to the net, who hasn't yet learned not to believe everything she reads, forwarded this to me. I'm kind of hoping the original email was a gullibility test of the sender's friends, because the alternative is too scary to contemplate.
I hate people that forward too many warnings as much as anyone, but
this is different! Send this warning to everyone on your e-mail list! If someone comes to your front door saying they are conducting a
survey on deer ticks and asks you to take your clothes off and dance around, do not do it! IT IS A SCAM; they only want to see you naked. I wish I'd gotten this yesterday. I feel so stupid now
The person who forwarded it to me at least had the brains to admit that we "probably" would see this as a scam, but it's important to tell our children. I'll admit that my parents never specifically warned me about strangers coming to the door and asking me to dance naked so they could look for deer ticks, but y'know, that's because we learned some general lessons that subsume that case... sheesh.
