matsujo9 made me this nifty icon. Thus I continue the trend: comment if you would like me to make you an icon based on one of your LJ interests. The choice of interest is entirely up to me.

Sorry -- the convention appears to be to actually explain the icon. I didn't mean to tease.

The game is tablero, a 16th-century gambling game. It's usually played on a 7x7 board. Each player puts down some coins (playing pieces). They then take turns with the dice. On your turn, you roll the dice and move two different coins the number of spaces indicated. You are trying to line adjacent coins up in rows. After your move you can pick up a row (if you have one) or roll again. (You might have a row but decide to go for a bigger one.) If you roll a 7 your turn ends. If you pick up coins your turn ends and your opponent has to replace them (on the edge of the board).

For the image, I used coins from my random collection of foreign currency.

Something that would work well for my teaching oriented posts . . . preferably with a comic oriented theme, and if you get bored and want to do another, something good for Jewish oriented posts that does NOT use the name of G-D, or a Star of David *grin*, or anything else normal *evil grin*.
