My surprise Micha moment wasn't the blog; it was "Micha is a rabbi?". (He wasn't the last time I had extended interactions with him, but it's been several years.)

Hebrew question: how is that kal spelled? (I've seen it only in transliteration, so far as I know.) If it's with a kaf, I really hope the vowel is a patach -- because the thought of having two kals running around, one with a kametz and one with a kametz katan, makes my head hurt. :-)

(Yeah, by kaf I meant the other one, the one that also appears as chaf.)

This kind of sounds like the punchline to a joke about marine mammals. Not sure what it would be like, though.
