I got this from
browngirl and others.
If you are so inclined, take a look at my icons and comment with the following:
1. One that makes you automatically think of me.
2. One that you think I should use more often.
3. One that you don't get/needs more explanation/you have no idea why the hell I have it.
Comment using an icon of yours that you LOVE, and tell me why you picked THAT one too.

2. Monica (you have a nice smile!)
3. Palestrina
My icon is from a photo I took of an iceberg north of St. John's, Newfoundland, back in May of 2003. The original photo was pretty nice, but even were I a great photographer, I doubt I could have done it justice. The colors inside are absolutely amazing, and it was the first time we'd ever seen one in real life.

That iceberg is very striking; it must have been great in person!

2 Monica
3 Um, actually I think I understand all of them. OF course, I may be wrong. :)
It's the Flying Squirrel!
Actually, I think it's the highest-energy icon I have; the others are all far more laid-back. The star-circles one is pretty nice too, but I never use it lately.

2. One that you think I should use more often - "demons-of-stupidity" - BEST.ICON.EVER.
3. One that you don't get/needs more explanation/you have no idea why the hell I have it - why the "VW" on a lemon?!?
Comment using an icon of yours that you LOVE, and tell me why you picked THAT one too - it's my eyeball. It's frogspawn (my favourite coral). What's not to love?

VW icon: my 2004 Golf has, I think, already given me more trouble than all previous cars put together. I have owned cars continuously for more than 20 years. Grumble. It's a very comfortable car to drive; a lot of the little design decisions are quite nice. However, two warranty claims in the first nine months, and other hassles since, do not inspire warm fuzzy feelings. My car failed its first inspection! I was driving for, potentially, nine months with dangerous wiring and I would have had no way of knowing it until the inspection. (The other early problem was a dead fuel pump at 6 months/2000 miles.)
The problems are made even more irritating by an extremely hostile dealership. I'm no longer willing to deal with that dealership (or any of the others in that local chain), but that comes at a fair bit of inconvenience and I note that VW's national office did absolutely nothing when I complained. So I must conclude that VW does not consider customer satisfaction to be important.
I had planned to keep this car for a long time, but now I'm planning to trade it in on a non-VW before the warranty expires.

2.fist of death - because I feel that way too
3. tulips other than they're pretty....
I picked Reuben's eyes because I can and he's so cute, even though he's much bigger now, they haven't really changed. I think that they're inquisitive and interesting.
