Who was your first roommate?
The first time I had a non-family roommate would have been during a summer program at a university after tenth grade. Alas, I no longer have any clues about this person's identity. (Well, she was female. :-) )
What alcoholic beverage did you drink when you got drunk the first time?
Probably beer, the staple of college parties.
What was your first job?
Cook/cashier/drudge labor at Rudy's House of Submarines.
What was your first car?
'78 Toyota Corolla (used).
When did you go to your first funeral?
My Aunt Mary, when I was 5.
How old were you when you first moved away from your hometown?
When I went to college, so I guess 16. Or, if it doesn't count until you really move out, when I graduated four years later. Mind, this involved moving from a suburb into the city; it's not like I moved to another state or something.
Who was your first grade teacher?
Mrs. Turtle. Never knew her fist name.
Where did you go on your first ride on an airplane?
When my family moved to the aforementioned suburb from across the country. I was three, so I don't remember the flight. I'll bet they don't let three-year-olds have those little packets of peanuts, which I'm sure would have deeply disappointed me.
When you snuck out of your house for the first time, who was it with?
Never did that.
Who was your first Best Friend and are you still friends?
I had friends in elementary school, but I don't think there was ever one who was identifiable as "best friend" until high school. (It was a different person, not a promotion of a previous friend.) Her name was Lori. We stayed in touch for a while and she still sende me cards and email from time to time, but I've backed off from her ever since she and her evangelist husband started ganging up on me and trying to get me to join them in their religion. Sadly, I don't think she understands the problem, nor have I found a way to explain it to her that doesn't slide off.
Where was your first sleepover?
I vaguely recall my parents letting me have one once when I was a kid.
Who is the first person you call when you have a problem?
Well, it's extremely unlikely that I'll call someone unless it's absolutely impossible to talk via other means. Phones are a poor medium for serious discussions. That aside, who I talk with depends on the nature of the problem, and the answer might well be "no one".
Whose wedding were you in the first time you were a bridesmaid or groomsmen?
Not counting as a musician, I've been in one wedding not my own -- my sister's first.
What is the first thing you do in the morning?
Say modah ani, the "thanks for letting me live to see another day" prayer.
What was the first concert you ever went to?
Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. My father tried to instill culture from an early age. It didn't do anything for me at the time, but it paid dividends later.
First tattoo or piercing?
What, you mean voluntarily get stabbed with needles? No way!
First celebrity crush?
Never did those.
Age of first real kiss with tongue?
Dunno. Not my favorite amorous activity.
First crush?
I don't remember having any.
First REAL love?
There was one long-term SO before Dani. We were good friends, but we didn't have the same goals for the relationship and it just didn't work out.
