We did have a nylon tent in camp this year, and would have had two had someone not had to stay home at the last minute. We don't insist on period-style structures, but we've been tending in that direction over the years we've been camping together.

We don't insist on them in Strawberry Fields, but we do put them in the back corner, hidden by all the other period tents.

We do our best to make the period-style stuff most visible, but we're a small group (16 people this year) so we don't always have a choice. We've been consistently able to put the house, kitchen, and pantry along the road; everything else depends on that year's structures and land allocation (shape of plot).
