parsha bit: B'shalach

"Speak to the children of Israel and tell them to go forth." When the Israelites found themselves at the sea of reeds, with Paro's army bearing down on them, Moshe prayed to God for guidance. Rabbi Eliezer says that God said to him: there is a time for brevity and a time for length. My children are threatened: quit talking to me and tell them to go forth! (Exodus Rabbah 21:8)

I thought that you;d like to know that I cut out a Viking apron dress for my wife from a modification of your pattern last night, and that she has since assembled it. It looks great, so thank you!

I'm not sure whether it has been superceded or not. There's a modified cutting pattern here that avoids problems with fabric with differences between the front and back sides. That's what we followed.

In any case, the dress looks very good on [personal profile] splagxna. I'll try to get a photo this weekend at Ymir.

Thanks!
