I would like to think that if I had the only solid lead to a nuclear threat in custody, I would be smart enough to never leave him unattended, and especially wouldn't let an unsupervised civilian have access to him. (Nor Jack Bauer; look at his track record.) I would also like to think that I am not as smart in these things as real counter-terrorism agents. Thus, suspension of disbelief utterly failed, again.

And yet I keep watching. I'm hooked and I don't know why.
