Edit: I've tried several times to post a shortish (two-paragraph) entry. The web interface returns a blank page and the email bounces. I've seen the status message, and I've seen that some of you aren't having this problem. Oh well; I guess I'll be back after Shabbat, if LJ cooperates. (If this edit works, that'll give me one more thing to try...)

Have you heard the one about a priest with a faulty mike? After a while, in frustration, he mutters "There's something wrong with this mike." The congregation, not able to hear but assuming he has begun the liturgy, responds... "and also with you."

FWIW, LJ's been having off-and-on issues the past few days. I haven't noticed much but status keeps reporting slow page loads and database errors.

I have been having exactly the same problem. Sometimes I can edit if I just change one small thing at a time or clear out my browser's cache before posting. Explorer seems to be having a larger problem than Safari.

I wasn't sure how many days of Shavuot you hold (I know parts of the Reform movement hold one and others hold two).

LJ has been particularly peculiar since last night (well, it might've been this way over yom tov).

I only keep one day (I think that's near-universal for Reform). But I knew why my traditional Jewish friends weren't online on Thursday. :-)

Apparently they have fixed the problem, though I haven't caught up post-Shabbat yet. I hope you had a good Shavuot (and Shabbat), and if you've posted about either yet I assume I'll see it eventually.
