I'm told that the coordinates correspond to a park in your neighborhood, and that some folks are planning to be there. (I won't be, as I don't live anywhere near there, but I have readers who might want to know about this.)

You're assuming that the latitude and longitude are North and West. The author has actually arranged for FOUR meet-ups; Cambridge, Outer Mongolia, Argentina and Sydney! You attend whichever one is closest!

Eight, actually. Those locations at 1428 local time, and those locations at 1428 UTC.

Or perhaps sixteen, because he originally posted a different set of coordinates, which he changed/corrected an hour after it went up the first time.
