Snow and ice can make for some nifty photos. I'm not very practiced at taking those nifty photos yet, but the fountain outside my office motivated me to try. They haven't turned it off; yesterday it was covered in icicles with flowing water, but by this morning it was all plugged up.

They light it at night. This was taken with the "night landscape" setting on my camera.

And while I'm posting photos...

I rarely get decent pictures of Embla, between her skittishness and all that dark fur:

Erik likes to sit near me when I'm using the computer. Fortunately for me, he's pretty good about not walking on the keyboard.

For Baldur before noon, this is a high-energy state:

Thanks. I wish I could have gotten better definition there in the dark, but using the flash was pretty disasterous. So, "soft" works too. :-)
