birthday

Today Erik and Baldur are 16 years old. Photos of their high-energy (ahem) celebration behind the cut.

Photographically speaking this is not a good picture of Baldur -- but it captures his tendencies so well that I included it anyway. :-) (Though really... how can that be comfortable?)

Happy birthday to da boyz!

Whether younger or more mature, our cats seem to save up their wild scrambling around the house for when it is most likely to cost us sleep.
:-)

Happy birthday, Erik and Baldur, and many, many more!

Starla enjoys that pose, too, so it must be more comfortable than it looks for those of us with four legs!

Many more happy, healthy years to them both!

Congratulations!!!

BTW - cats have no bones until the moment they need them. Once the bones aren't needed anymore (like when they are sleeping) they go away.
