Shabbat services

I'll be leading Shabbat evening services this week, which I'm looking forward to. (It'll be my first time leading out of the final edition of Mishkan T'filah, though I've led out of drafts and, of course, used it as a congregant.) Last week the cantorial soloist was really sick. I hope she's doing better (it sucks to be sick, especially during the Pesach seder). If she's not, I guess I'll be doing more of the singing than originally planned.

We're doing what we usually do for Kabbalat Shabbat (which isn't full by traditional standards, but we're actually making inroads there -- new siddur finally prints all the psalms so we're gradually adding 'em in).

Because it's chol ha-moed, we will use seasonal melodies in the usual places (and, of course, include ya'aleh v'yavo).
