Is this that post-LJ thing, the one that's supposed to preserve all the nice old traditional LJ values but isn't viable yet? ;-D (I see it's in beta.) I'm intrigued.

That's the one. We'll see how it works out. There's supposed to be cross-site compatability (via OpenID), so I hope it doesn't fragment the community. Right now I'm not planning to move but rather mirror.

If you are allocated many invite codes I would appreciate one too. I too hope it does not massively fragment things, but if mirroring works well it could be interesting. It really seems like mirrored journals are a passably tolerable way to keep up with competing standards/sites.

Thanks for the code! Cutting and pasting it worked just fine. And by getting in on the ground floor, I'm not stuck with that trailing underscore...
