daf bit: Bava Metzia 12
The mishna teaches: an object found by a man's minor son or daughter,
male or female Canaanite bondsman, or wife belongs to him, but an object
found by his mature son or daughter, male or female Hebrew servant, or
divorced wife belongs to the finder. The g'mara takes issue with the
Hebrew maid-servant: if she is a minor then according to this mishna
the object belongs to her father, and if she is mature then she has
no business being a maid-servant, as she should have been freed at
puberty. The g'mara answers that "it belongs to the finder" here
means "it does not belong to the master"; the father of the minor
maidservant will then acquire the object from her, but in any case
the master does not get it. (12a-b)
