We've just finished mid-year performance reviews at my company, so No Surprises from Rands in Repose caught my eye. "The surprise has nothing to do with money. But it’s even better if it’s clear why you think you did a splendid job. Can you articulate it? And you might know, but does your boss? Can he explain to you, in detail, how well you kicked ass? That quadruple down looks great, but how do you get it in your mouth if you're not Mick Jagger or Carly Simon? Why not just have a couple of double downs instead?

I assume they do it for the shock value, as with all jumbo sandwiches. I've seen people order sandwiches in restaurants that they then had to eat with a knife and fork because, really, who has jaws that big? Some people value presentation over practicality, I guess. (And for this specific site, you have to grant that presentation counts for a lot. :-) )
