1. Google+ won't load on my Android tablet using the default browser. (Also fails in Firefox.) I don't know how to tell them...

2. (What I was actually going to say there:) Apparently the keyboard for my ASUS tablet drains battery way faster than the tablet itself. Not what I expected! If any leeching is happening I thought the keyboard would draw from the tablet, and if there's no leeching, I expected the keyboard to be the less-demanding device. Now I wonder what's really going on. (The two weigh about the same, and I assume battery is a significant part of the weight.)

Which tablet do you have? N and I have the TF700 (we share one keyboard but each have a tablet). The keyboard greatly extends the battery life of the tablet (I'm not sure the number of hours, but tablet + keyboard can run for a week before needing to be charged, but tablet only is a day or two, depending on use).

I'm wondering if you have a defective device.

I have the Infinity. The tablet seems to do well on power use; the keyboard itself drained (or rather, its indicator got low; I didn't run it completely out) much faster than I expected this weekend. We were out of town for a family visit and I had longer-than-usual sessions with the keyboard; at one point the tablet was down to about 80% but the keyboard was reporting 25%. Since I'd charged them together I was surprised. I'll be paying more attention now; since I don't always use the keyboard it isn't as easy to notice casually.

I guess I could have a defective keyboard. Or maybe it was a fluke. More observation is called for.
