I share your frustration with many FAQs. Too many entries have never been asked by anybody anywhere...
Yeah, this one crystallized for me way back 10-15 years ago, when the SCA had two separate FAQs. I ran the *real* one, which answered the questions that really had been frequently asked at questions@sca. And then there was the *official* one -- which was ten times longer, composed mainly of administrivia that officialdom wanted you to know, and had little or no overlap with the questions in the real FAQ...
