That makes sense. And while most people think of power-cycling, thinking of power-cycling with a delay is less common. I don't know if FiOS routers draw power from the input line the way phones do; phones need to so they can ring but I don't know if routers need to for anything. (Or if they don't, but they're built that way anyway for some other reason.)
