I sometimes get "it's time to leave" notices on my phone, probably from Google Now, though it always assumes I'm driving. (For me that's a safe bet, but YMMV.) I get this for flights ("leave for the airport now") and sometimes -- I don't know what controls it -- other appointments. But I don't get it for commuting even though Google knows my habits, because I don't actually schedule that on my calendar.
