That said, I've always been put off Patreon because I didn't know what it was going to cost me in currency conversion: my bank charges a per payment fee on non-sterling transactions, which makes those small regular payments a whole lot less inviting. And now Patreon are double-loading that per-transaction fee...
Though there are two separate things going on herr, aren't there, the technical issue and Patreon's business model...
