One of the people in my gaming group (called "Goljerp Gaming" because I organize it) has Power Grid, and even played it at GG one time -- but we had enough people that time to play more than one game simultaneously, and I didn't end up playing it. We usualy don't have time to play more than 1 long game, so the opportunity hasn't come up too often. Also, the owner always describes it as "pure number crunchy", while I tend to enjoy things with a bit more randomness. (Case in point: I love Fluxx (versions 2.1 - 3.1); he doesn't care for it.)
