Yeah -- I think JMS has learned that the less said about the fantastic premise the better, in most cases. This is particularly evident in Sense8, which asserts its premise broadly, makes no effort whatsoever to explain it in logical terms, and is a much stronger show for that. (Given that I'm pretty sure that there is no explanation that would make a *lick* of sense...)
