The smart thing to do is, for new construction, to make sure anything you build is road-legal so you *can* take it off-site. We built our new kitchen to the minimum of PA and Cooper restrictions in all dimensions. (PA actually allows a trailer to be half a foot wider than the Coopers do if they're storing it. No idea why.) So far we've been storing it at a camp member's home (that's where we built it), but she's told us that this needs to be the last year of taking over that chunk of her lawn -- which is completely fair. The long-term plan was always to either store with the Coopers or find a nearby off-site place to store it; I think the latter is looking like the smarter move. (There's a lot to be said for *not* storing it in high grass!)
