I think this statement applies to so many things we currently observe in politics, business, ethics. There's a saying: If you don't like the rules, get the power to change them to your liking. It's always the powerful that make the rules. At the moment, all the power is to what some consider to be political correctness (which basically just means suppressing those who aren't in power at the moment)
