I haven't (yet) been told to apologize. I also haven't been told, despite *repeated* requests, exactly what I said that was supposedly a CoC violation. If there was a violation, I can't very well improve if I don't know! And if there wasn't, they need to stop saying there was.
I believe I have been respectful and civil through all of this. My "crime" was having "wrong" opinions, I think.
Supposedly they are working on a process for reinstatement, and I can go through it when it exists. I haven't seen it yet so don't know what's involved. Despite the massive failure of due process in my removal, they are unwilling to reinstate first and *then* have a discussion about whatever they think I did. Guilty until proven innocent seems to be the rule. (As a moderator, I once or twice cancelled a suspension when the user made a convincing case. It can happen. But I am not allowed to do so.)
