I'm thankful you are safe. I grieve for those who were not, and am pretty sure you knew some the folks who were present, even if you weren't.

I am almost certain that I do. I would expect that the people who regularly come to a weekday morning minyan are going to be the ones who actually show up *on time* for a Shabbat service. They haven't released any names yet and I've heard no rumors -- went to a vigil tonight that had a few thousand people and didn't see any of my friends from there in that huge crowd (but also, dark). I've been unable to reach my closest friend in the weekday minyan.
