Memo to self: on Tuesday, I have to remember to vote against Kate <somebody> (somewhat illegible; hope it's unambiguous) for judge. I don't know how qualified she is, but she or her minions engage in phone-spam, and that's enough for me. It's one thing to have your people make calls; it's another to have your machine make calls and fail to detect answering machines. My machine cut it off after 3 minutes, but I still had to wait through it to get to the second message -- which then turned out to be a wrong number. Grr.

(Yeah, I know I can get a better machine, but that's fundamentally the same argument as "use your delete key". It's a coping mechanism, not a justification of bad behavior.)

I got similar phone spam from Mark Warner's wife here in Virginia. And I was going to vote for him too.

Actually, I probably will still vote for him, because the alternative (Mark Early) is just so horrid I couldn't imagine it.

Yeah, yeah.. Last time Mark Warner ran for something it was for Senate against John Warner... so everyone said "Vote for Warner!!" Now it's "Vote for Mark"

You can see how much Virginians really love politics.

I've been hearing much the same as I'm very close to VA (in Maryland). I work in DC and most of my coworkers are in Northern VA. I used to live in VA oh not so long ago (just finished moving up here in August)...if I were still there I'd be voting with you. My boss will cancel you out, but several of my coworkers will be voting with you, so it all works out...
